Project title: Our healthy future in our hands
Project duration: August 1, 2008 – January 31, 2009
Project description: In five schools and state college in Berd community, where around 1700 pupils and students study, there is a problem concerning physical training and organizing sport events. That is lack of sports centre and appropriate equipment. State collage in Berd is the only specialized educational institution in the region, and about 170 students attend it from Berd and 16 communities of the region. The college is biased towards humanitarian, management and law. Highly specialized specialists teach in this collage. There is also a student council. All subjects but physical training are taught there, as the college doesn’t have a gymnasium and appropriate equipment to educate the body as well. The students can’t practice properly and they are also deprived of the chance to organize sport events. The only sports hall in Berd community is close for the students, as only those pupils can attend it, who is involved in different sport groups, and they are not many.
Project goal is to help the students to be well-informed and make the sports center, controlled by local self-governed authority, be available for the students to have their physical training classes and organize sport events as well.

Project title: Make efforts to clean our environment
Project duration: August 1,2008 –  December 31,2009
Project description: The main problem of Noyemberyan and its environment is the ecological bad condition .The cause of it is the situation which is the result of household, construction garbage and wastes which constantly grow day by day in the territory of town, its streets and pavements, the places near the town, in the abandoned places, near the springs and zones for rest. There are garbage sacks beside the roads too. Because of this situation one can see garbage piles nearly everywhere in the town. The project will support the improving of Noyemberyan and its environments as well as the applying of continuing, strong and stable process. As a most important output, the project expects creation of a design jointly developed with the active participation of the society and responsible officials and approved by local authorities. It will be directed to the solution of the problem and contribution of steady mechanisms and activities excluding further rise of the problem. The direct benefices are the population of Noyemberyan.
The target group is Noyemberyan city hall, the counselors and the only organization which does the garbage removing activity is “Baretes” CSC.

Project title: The protection of children’s rights and interests left without parental care'
Project duration:  September 1, 2008 – January 31,2009
Project description: The main goal of the project is to make rights accessibility available for all the members of the society irrespective of their gender in Tavush.
To achieve the main goal it is planned
a) to support the raise of women’s civic activity, the capacity development of their self-expression in Marz.
b) To support in the development in gender policy and its contribution in Tavush Marz in order to raise the role of women in socio-political life.
