Armine has been working with CHAP since January, 2003, first as a Project Director and then, beginning August 2006, she has been promoted as a Country Program Director. Her main responsibility within the CHAP team is to manage all aspects of CHAP in Armenia, including distribution of HA commodities donated by private donors and the US Government to qualified recipients, supervising CHAP Armenia office and field Staff in the country, supervising country program budget and all financial issues, and implementing program activities according to the Activity Plan approved by CHAP/Caucasus Regional Director. Before joining the CHAP team, Armine has worked as a professor at the department of foreign languages of the Agricultural Academy of Yerevan.
Nare joined Counterpart International’s Community and Humanitarian Assistance Program (CHAP) in July 2009 as Project Manager, becoming one of the newest members of our team. Nare graduated from European Regional Educational Academy faculty of IT Business Management. Nare previously worked at Broncoway LLC as a marketing associate and project manager and at “LATAR” hotel complex as a head of marketing department. Nare is a founder member of various NGOs and in the frame work of these NGOs they provide various humanitarian assistance and services to the orphanages of the RA. Also providing art therapy services to mentally and physically disabled children (like dance therapy, art therapy and story telling).
Hovhannes has been working with CHAP since March, 2004, first as a Driver and Logistics Assistant and then, beginning April 2008, as Warehouse Manager/Driver. His main responsibilities within the CHAP team is to manage CHAP /Armenia Warehouse, track Humanitarian Assistance shipments , supervise all operations at the CHAP/Armenia warehouse, including humanitarian assistance unloading, inventorying, loading, and distribution; drive a car providing safe and efficient transportation to CHAP/Armenia personnel and its visitors; help manage all aspects of the project implementation. Before joining CHAP team, Hovihannes has worked in UMCOR, as a Manager of a Charitable cafeteria for students from vulnerable families.
